Sara holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University.

Prior to joining the Met Chorus, Sara sang as a soloist with Chicago Opera Theater, Opera in the Heights, Boston Baroque, Boston Midsummer Opera, Odyssey Opera, The Santa Fe Symphony, Xalapa Symphony Orchestra, The Greater Bridgeport Symphony, and others.
