MATTHEW SOIBELMAN

Matthew Soibelman is a graduate of The Juilliard School and California State University, Northridge. Prior to joining the Met Chorus in 2026, he has performed with Pittsburgh Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Utah Festival Opera, Opera Memphis, and Palm Beach Opera, among others. He most recently performed Dottore Grenvil in Opera Company of Middlebury‘s production of Verdi’s La Traviata, as well as João in the U.S. premiere of Xavier Montsalvatge’s Babel 46.

He can also be heard on the major motion picture soundtracks of Star Wars Episodes VII & VIII, as well as Transformers: The Last Knight.
