We wanted to invite you all to our Spring Sing event this coming Sunday at 5pm. This event features 14 amazing singers from the Regular and Extra Chorus of the Metropolitan Opera Chorus and will take place at the Reformed Church of Bronxville, located at 180 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville, NY 10708! We will be singing arias, duets, and group numbers from operas highlighting our current season which goes for six more weeks, as well as next season which begins in September. We also have a few numbers planned for those who wish to sing along with us! 🌷 This event is produced by the Met Chorus Artists Inc, which is the non-profit arm of the Metropolitan Opera Chorus whose mission is to expand interest in and enthusiasm for opera through outreach, education, charity events and community-building. 🌼 One of our recent events was partnering with a group called @cultureforone that provides opportunities for kids in foster care to have a one-on-one New York City arts experience. We provided voice lessons to middle school students and then invited them to attend a final dress rehearsal at the Met. This is just one example of the type of work the Met Chorus Artists are doing and strive to continue. 🌺 We do hope you will join us next Sunday at 5pm for the Spring Sing!
